Advice and notes for when choosing a mattress
All our mattresses are delivered flat, and they won’t be vacuum-packed or rolled.
We suggest rotating the mattress regularly to keep the comfort layers evenly used and flipping it where recommended.

Measuring Tip – Please allow an extra inch or 2cm when measuring available space.
Handstitched borders (thick borders) add an extra inch to the width and length, which can cause an issue, especially with a bed frame where the mattress has to sit. So please let me know when you’re able to.
When choosing a comfortable mattress, consider the following advice based on your weight:
– For users under 10 stone, a medium feel is usually preferred unless you want a softer mattress that allows for more sinking.
– If you weigh between 10 to 13 stone, opting for a medium to firm mattress to support your back effectively is best.
– For those over 13 stone, a firmer mattress is recommended to provide extra support and prevent excessive sinking.
Remember, all our weight recommendations are based on firmness ratings, but individual needs and preferences may vary.
