The Pennine Divan bed set includes a divan base and a matching Pennine headboard. This base is covered with Chenille, a soft textured fabric that is widely used in the realm of home decor. The base is made of slow-growing timber and the headboard is made of chipboard and wood construction. The headboard is decorated in an elegant yet simple crystal design. This padded area is made to support your head whilst the mattress gives you optimum comfort. Also, you can mix and match the various fabrics and colours and optional divan storage drawers’ and ottoman lift-up to give you the most storage. On top of that you can choose from five different mattress options which are open coil, pocket sprung and memory foam range at a reduced price when choosing from the above options to complete the divan bed set.

Advice and notes for when choosing the mattress

All our mattresses are delivered as flat, and they won’t be vacuum packed or rolled pack

We suggest rotating the mattress regularly therefore it helps to keep the comfort layers evenly used and flip the mattress where recommend doing so,

Measuring Tip – Please allow an extra inch or 2cm when measuring available space.

Handstitched borders (thick borders) add an extra inch to width and length, especially with a bed frame where the mattress has to sit in, it can cause the issue therefore please advise when ordering,  

Mattress feel advice for choosing a comfortable mattress – Normally up to 10 stone users prefer a medium feel unless they need a soft comfortable mattress to sink in, secondly from 10 – 13 stone users prefer to have a medium to firm and more towards the firmer feel to support their back and body, thirdly the 13 stone plus user normally needs firmer bed/ mattress to compensate for extra sinkage and support to your body, therefore, we would suggest taking extra care when choosing the correct mattress for your sleep needs,
